1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Green Journal app (“App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not access or use the App.
2. Ownership and License
The App and all related content, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by Green Journal LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, translate, or distribute the App or create derivative works without our written permission.
3. User Responsibilities
Use the App responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. Keep your device secure. We do not recommend jailbreaking or rooting your device, as it may compromise security and App functionality. You are responsible for carrier/data charges and for ensuring your device has sufficient battery and connectivity.
4. App Features and Services
Green Journal provides tools to log, analyze, and understand cannabis-related product experiences. The App does not promote or facilitate the use of tobacco, nicotine, or vaping products. Its purpose is educational, analytical, and safety-forward: helping users make informed, mindful decisions.
4.1 Rate My Weed & Scan Product Packaging
These features use AI and image recognition to help document packaging and quality indicators for journaling and transparency. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, recommend, or encourage consumption.
4.2 Community Features
Users can share entries and insights. To promote safety:
- Flag Entry — report unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate content.
- Block User — hide content from specific users.
We may remove content and restrict accounts that violate our guidelines or applicable law.
5. Subscription and Payments
Green Journal offers free and paid tiers. The paid tier (“Pro Plan”) may include unlimited scans, advanced analytics, and early access to new features.

- Length: Monthly (auto-renewable)
- Price: $4.99 USD per month (or local equivalent)
- Billing: Charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation.
- Auto-Renewal: Renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Management: Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.

6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services (e.g., Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase, RevenueCat). Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use those services. We are not responsible for third-party content or policies.
7. Limitations of Liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Green Journal is not liable for losses arising from connectivity issues, device problems, third-party outages, or reliance on user-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid (if any) for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Updates and Modifications
We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting within the App or on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, unlawful use, or actions that risk harm to others or the platform.
